Ged Palmer

Ged Palmer is a lettering artist and sign painter based in east London. With fifteen years' experience of working with letterforms, Ged offers typography, calligraphy, lettering and sign painting to discerning clients in the UK and abroad.

In 2015 Ged came across an illustration made by Eric Ravilious of an old sign shop that closed in 1938. Inspired by the drawing, Ged planned to reincarnate the old shop and opened The Luminor Sign Co in 2016. Now based at 47 Roman Road, E2, Luminor specialises in 100% hand-lettered design, sign painting & gold leaf.

Ged's work has been recognised by the International Society of Typographic Designers, The Type Directors Club and various publications worldwide.
